Caronia's Passenger Lists - Page 2

One piece of ephemera that still has its uses, even today, is the Passenger List. At the time it would be part of the ship's manifest, giving brief details about fellow travelling passengers.

This page allows comparison of the various passenger list types, for First Class, Cabin Class and a variety of cruises. The Caribbean Cruise lists only carried passengers’ names, whereas the major cruises showed name and US destination.

The cruise booklets were often quite lavish for their size and function. They carried a standard text providing answers to a variety of frequently asked questions. This has been transcribed as the start page of the Virtual 1951 Great World Cruise.

Links to relevant PaxList transcripts are also provided.
