Match History to 1962

From the 1st match at Singapore on the Great World Cruise of 1955, a total of 13 matches had been played. Before finding a permanent home at Bergen in 1957, matches had also been played in Kobe, Naples, Haifa and Villefranche. The first match in Bergen was played in 1955. It only became an annual event from 1958 onward.

Out of the 13 matches, only one was a draw, the score 2 - 2 played at Bergen in 1956.
