This page is a transcript of the Match programme for the 1962 “Wareham & Bergen Trophies” match, held in Bergen on Friday 13 July, 1962. This was the 14th match between the Sandringham and Balmoral Restaurant teams with the Dynamos winning 7 - 4.

The Wareham Trophy was presented to the Ship by Mr. Cyril Wareham during the 1955 World Cruise and the Bergen Trophy was presented by the Bergen Ice Skating Rink.

Match History to 1962

From the 1st match at Singapore on the Great World Cruise of 1955, a total of 13 matches had been played. Before finding a permanent home at Bergen in 1957, matches had also been played in Kobe, Naples, Haifa and Villefranche. The first match in Bergen was played in 1955. It only became an annual event from 1958 onward.

Out of the 13 matches, only one was a draw, the score 2 - 2 played at Bergen in 1956.
