Notes:
  • When coming off the M27 motorway at Junction 5, head North toward Chandler's Ford. Turn left at the first roundabout (Concorde Club on right), then take the next left
  • Make sure that you don't miss your turn right about 50 yards before you reach the motorway overbridge. The sheer number of signs pointing down the lane can be confusing.
  • Beware, this private road has several sharp sleeping-policemen bumps along it!
Previous Reunions

The February 2007 reunion was a bit special! Other reunion records have been added as below…

2010 Anniversaries

With 1950 being the year when Caronia first started cruising in earnest, there will be many dates from January onwards where Maiden Visits to many famous ports began.

For example from 04 February 2010 to the 16th will be the Diamond Anniversary of the first visit to the South African Cape ports - Cape Town - Port Elizabeth - East London and Durban, where the “Green Goddess” caused great local anticipation!

2009 Anniversaries

With 1949 being the first year of revenue service for the “Green Goddess”, there will be many Diamond anniversaries of “Firsts”. Probably the most significant are the maiden departures from Southampton and New York on the 4th and 15th of January respectively.

2008 Anniversary

The only significant 2008 anniversary was on 18 December 2008, 60 years since the start of Caronia's Commissioning Run or The Coastal Cruise. Of course, this was also the 60th Anniversary of when people started to become regularly associated with the “Green Goddess”.

A Diamond Anniversary

Tuesday 30 October 2007 was the 60th Anniversary of the launch of the RMS Caronia by H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth (H.M. The Queen) at John Brown's shipyard, Clydebank. A special page to celebrate this has been added which also sends greetings to H.M. The Queen for her Diamond Wedding anniversary.

A Ruby Anniversary

Saturday 24 November 2007 was the 40th Anniversary of the last arrival of RMS Caronia at Southampton, after a distinguished career with Cunard.
