Introduction
This page lists all of the jobs carried out by the crew of the “Green Goddess” on her 1st Great World Cruise from New York. It is based upon the declaration given to US Immigration on arrival at New York on 02 January 1951, after a Christmas / New Year cruise to the West Indies and South America.
Due to the reduced number of passengers for the World Cruise, 105 crew were sent back to the UK aboard the Queen Mary. 10 new crew were Signed-on at New York. An 18 year old lad from Liverpool deserted the ship.
Although this list is shown as a manifest, it is not intended that it give full details of each rating, like Age, Nationality, Service at Sea etc. The list is ordered according to Articles Number with series prefix.
