List of Passengers
This page is a full-text transcript of the First Class Passenger List for Caronia's Westbound transatlantic crossing from Southampton and Le Havre on 23 June 1953.
Notes
- This passenger list has been reconstructed by transcribing original US Immigration records and correctly differentiates between those having boarded at Southampton and those at Le Havre. Unlike the lists published by Cunard, these lists don't show any titles or decorations, and often omit marital status clues as well
- Sheet Number 15, presumably with 12 passengers named upon it, was missing from source. Hence, only 243 of the 255 passengers travelling are listed on this page
- Where no marital status is indicated, women travelling on their own are listed below as Miss. However, it's possible that some may be married, divorced or widowed. Also, no guarantee of accuracy can be given with regard to the spelling of names. Any proven corrections will be gladly accepted
