Inventory 1952 Virtual North Cape Cruise
The Foundations of the Caronia Timeline

The top two menus on this page, along with those on the June and July 1964 pages were the only mementos that I managed to keep from my time on the Caronia. It's the cause of much regret to me that my complete collection of menus from the 1966 Great World Cruise were somehow mislaid in the years since I left the Merchant Navy.

However, this collection of menus was the start of a quest to find other Caronia items once access to the Internet was gained. With resources like eBay and the various booksellers all around the World, I've been able to gather together a great number of interesting items. However, the added bonus has been in making several new friends along the way. Those 10 menus were the core items that eventually led to me building the Timeline, and to receive all of the joy and delight that has come from it.

Also on this page, I'm delighted to present a link to a story of how true love was born on a Caronia transatlantic crossing.

If you can contribute any information, do please get in touch…
