Return to New York
Transatlantic Crossing
Making this voyage from Lisbon to New York happened only half a dozen times during Caronia's career. It was always after the Summer Mediterranean Cruise. All the others went on to visit Cherbourg and terminated at Southampton.
This meant that of your 31 days, twelve of them would be spent in the Atlantic. At this time of year, the weather could be very unpredictable so a smooth crossing, in either direction, could not be guaranteed.

Unlike on the Great World Cruises, these Talent Shows were only staged for the passengers and not in Caronia's theatre. They were also vastly different in scope, though the crew did get shows put on the “Pig” during these shorter cruises.
