The “pint pot” on the table brings back some memories for me. Generally speaking you made a point of acquiring your own for use throughout a voyage. This allowed you to take your beer back to the cabins without creating a glasses shortage in “The Pig” - the crew bar.

I still have my own pot with its 1966 official 1 pint certification branding and it's still in regular use.

Killing Time…

Playing cards whilst enjoying a drink. The early Pepsi cans (tin rather than aluminium) means there's probably a hidden bottle of bacardi somewhere.

The Cunard Diner

Of course, no crew visit to New York could be complete without a visit to the “Market Diner” but there was another venue nearby that was almost as popular - “The Cunard Diner”. Below, we have a group of catering staff posed outside the Cunard Diner in 1950.
