This page lists all of the jobs carried out by the crew of the “Green Goddess” on her 65th transatlantic crossing from Southampton. This crossing was the Sterling Cruise via the British West Indies ahead of the 1958 Great World Cruise departing from New York on 21 January 1958.
The Articles for this voyage began on 09 December 1957 and ran until 19 June 1958, the end of the delayed 1958 Mediterranean Spring Cruise.

Accuracy
Most previous crewlist transcripts have come from typed originals. For this list the entries are entirely hand-written from the original log-books that carry only family name and initials. This means the incidence of errors occuring is much higher. I've relied heavily upon previous entries to retrieve full names.
If any of the ratings are incorrectly described below, do please advise me of these.

- Total crew complement, including the Master, for the 02 January 1958 Transatlantic Crossing was 684 of which there were 453 in the Catering Department
- P310 / P356 / P359 - 3 Engine Room ratings misbehaved. 1 deserted at Tangier 31 May 1958, others given a “Dishonourable Discharge” (DDR) in New York on 21 May 1958. None is named here!
- P728 / P1022 / P1025 / 3 Catering Ratings also misbehaved, 2 deserted and another given a “Dishonourable Discharge”
- Ratings struck through below, signed articles but did not sail
- P86 Cruise Director Thomas Hidderley joined Caronia in New York on 17 January 1958 and signed-off after the Great World Cruise on 21 May 1958. No Cruise Director took his place for the Spring Cruise
