This page is a combined First and Cabin Class full-text transcript of the Passenger List for the Caronia's 42nd Westbound transatlantic crossing from Southampton on 10 December 1952. Of course, the ship would have sailed with many more passengers than are listed here as this transcript only shows those who travelled through to New York.
With 9 days duration and a call to Bermuda, this positioning crossing became known as the “Sterling Cruise”, so-called because it was the only Caronia cruise that could optionally be paid for in Pounds Sterling. In later years this voyage was extended to 15 days, with Kingston, Jamaica and Nassau added as ports of call.
