This is another of a selected series of text transcripts of the “Daily Programme of Events” issued whilst Caronia was at sea. This page is for Friday, 02 October 1964. The ship had left New York the previous day bound for Funchal, Madeira.

By this time, the daily programme content had outgrown its previous small-size cards with the new ones being in folded American Letter size. The new layout also allowed for more inclusion of graphical illustrations.

for Information on Shore programme Arrangements, Main Deck, Aft, will open from 9.30 to 11.30am, and 2.30 to 4.30pm today

Special Notice to Passengers
Having American Express Company Travel Reservations

Passengers with surname initials A to M are requested to collect their Tour Tickets against their Final Payment Receipts between 9.30 and 11.30am

Passengers with surname initials N to Z are requested to collect their Tour Tickets against their Final Payment Receipts between 2.30 and 4.30pm

Please bring your American Express Company form:
Receipt for tours purchased with you

Today, at 4pm,
will be the final time for purchasing, exchanging or cancelling membership in Tours 6A, 6B and 7 (Casablanca)

Shopping Hours

The Shop and Drug Store will be open from 10am to 1pm and from 3.30 to 7pm today

Rotary International

Rotarians travelling are invited to inspect the Rotary Register at the Purser's Office and subscribe their names
