As well as the Boxers, there was also an active Judo & Wrestling Club on board Caronia. They too
provided exhibitions for the passengers as an after-dinner entertainment in the main lounge.
I'm indebted to 3 former members, Richard Steed, Keith Dodson and Chris Griffiths, for providing
photographs of them in action.
The Judo Club practised in Caronia's gym in the late evenings after it was closed to the passengers.
One of its members in 1964, John Wigglesworth, was the youngest Black Belt in England having won
it at the age of 15 at a London Judo Club.

show a bout between Gus Arcon and Chris Griffiths. The 5th is a wrestling match between
Keith Dodson and possibly Malcolm Brice (Captain's Tiger).
