Caronia's Deck Department - Page 4

These photographs have been sent in by Len Danson who was an AB on the Caronia from 1957 to 1962 and Bo'sun's Mate until 1966.

I'd be very happy to receive additional photographs and any information that will identify persons as yet unknown.

This was Len Danson's 21st birthday party, held in the Forward Pig on 04 May 1957. One detail to note is the large pipe in left background - this held Caronia's anchor chain. Apparently you didn't want to be in that room when the anchor was dropped!
