Tour #70: Granada

Full-Day, by Motor Coach

Leave at 8am, driving through the scenic Sierra Nevada Mountains to Granada (about 2½ hours).

Sightseeing in Granada is restricted to the Alhambra, with its beautiful Moorish palaces, courtyards, and fountains.

Luncheon will be served at the Nevada Palace Hotel.

In the afternoon, leave Granada for Málaga and rejoin the Caronia in time for sailing.

Full-Day, by Motor Automobile

Leave at 8am, driving through the scenic Sierra Nevada Mountains to Granada (about 1½ hours).

A programme of sightseeing includes the Cathedral with the tombs of Ferdinand and Isabella, the Chapel Royal, and the curving, narrow streets of this ancient Andalusian city.

The glorious Alhambra, with its beautifully preserved Moorish palaces, courtyards, and fountains will also be visited.

Luncheon will be served at the lovely Alhambra Palace Hotel.

Leave Granada in the afternoon, driving through the rugged countryside to Málaga.

Rejoin the Caronia in time for sailing.

Tour #72: The Caves of Nerja & Málaga

Full-Day, by Motor Coach

Drive through the valley of Motril and along the coast, passing through the little fishing village of Salobrana.

Continue to Punta de la Mona for a magnificent view of Herradura Beach. Proceed to the Caves of Nerja, passing many beautiful beaches en route. Approximately one hour will be spent visiting the caves.

Then motor to Málaga where luncheon will be served at the Hotel Miramar.

In the afternoon, sightseeing in Málaga will include the historic Cathedral, Alameda Gardens, the Bull Ring, Alcazaba, and the principal residential and shopping streets.

Rejoin the Caronia in the early afternoon.
