Tour #35: Classical Athens
Full-Day, by Motor Coach
Drive from Piraeus to Greece's busy capital city where morning sightseeing includes the renowned National Museum with its priceless collection of art. A visit will also be made to the Parthenon atop the Acropolis, Mars Hill, and the Theseum.
Luncheon at the Grand Bretagne Hotel.
In the afternoon, see the great Olympic Stadium, the Royal Palace, the Arch of Hadrian, the ruins of the massive Temple of Zeus, the Odeon of Herodias Atticus, and the Theatre of Dionysus.
Return to the Caronia in Piraeus in the late afternoon.

Tour #36: Delphi
Full-Day, by Motor Coach
Leave shipside at about 9:00am and motor through the Boeotian Plain. Pass the ancient towns of Thebes and Levadia to he picturesque village of Arachova. Continue to Delphi, situated high on the slopes of Mount Parnassus.
Visit the museum at Delphi, which contains the famous bronze statue of the Charioteer.
Luncheon at the Vouzas Hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the ancient Treasuries, the Temple of Apollo, the Theatre, the Stadium, and the Tholos.
Return to Piraeus by way of the Monastery of Ossios Lucas, a church dating from the 10th Century and lined with outstanding examples of ancient mosaics.
Rejoin the Caronia at about 9:00pm.

Tour #37: Daphni, Corinth & Mycenae
Full-Day, by Motor Coach
Drive over the route of the ancient Sacred Way, passing Daphni Church built in the year 800. Continue across the Isthmus to Corinth, where sightseeing includes the market place, Fountain of Pirene, Odeon, and the colums of the Temple of Apollo.
Then drive into the Peloponnesus to the site of Mycenae, where luncheon will be served in a leading restaurant.
In the afternoon visit this legendary capital of King Agamemnon seeing the Acropolis, Lion's Gate, Royal Tombs, monumental Beehive Tomb, and the presumed Tomb of Clytemnestra.
Return to Piraeus and rejoin the Caronia in time for dinner.

Tour #38: Acropolis Sound & Light
and Folklore Programme
Evening, Transfers by Motor Coach
Following an early dinner on board, transfer to the Acropolis. Here, a startling nighttime spectacle will be presented, depicting the exciting drama of ancient Athenian history. It is highlighted by floodlighting, music, and dramatic commentary, centring on the ancient structures of the Acropolis.
Afterwards, drive through the streets of Athens to the Folklore Theatre, where a programme of typical music and dance will be presented.
Return to the Caronia in Piraeus before midnight.
