Tour #93: Kauai' Wailua River Cruise
& Grand Canyon Drive
Full-Day, by Plane, Automobile & Motor Launch
Morning flight (½ hour) to Kauai, “The Garden Island”.
Upon arrival, drive to the Wailua River and board a motor launch for a leisurely cruise on this lovely tropical waterway.
Then visit Kauai's unique fern grottoes, where thousands of ferns hang from the roofs. Informal Hawaiian entertainment will be presented in this original setting for Hawaii's famous “Wedding Song”.
Afterwards, motor through fields of sugar cane to Nawiliwili Harbor, whose fish ponds date to Polynesian days. A stop will be made to see the “spouting horn”, a natural salt water geyser formed by the sea.
Continue through the Hanapepe Valley to Kalalau Lookout, high above Waimea Canvon. This miniature Grand Canyon has 4,000-foot cliffs. plunging to the sea far below.
Fly back to Honolulu in the late aftrnmoon, rejoining the Caronia before dinner.

Tour #94: Oahu Islnd Drive
Full-Day, by Motor Coach
Leave Honolulu and drive past Pearl Harbor, before continuing inland through fields of sugar cane and pineapple.
Pass the village of Wahiawa and Schofield Barracks, before arriving at Waimea on the northeastern coast.
Then motor past beautiful seascapes to Kahuku, visiting the Morman Temple and the Polynesian cultural centre at Laie.
Luncheon at Pat's Restaurant in Punaluu.
In the afternoon, skirt the water's edge and drive through banana and coconut groves to the village of Kaneohe. Continue over spectacular Pali Pass, with panoramic views of th( ocean and countryside. and through the Nuuanu Valley to Honolulu.
Rejoin the Caronia before dinner.

Tour #95: Honolulu & Waikiki Beach
Morning, by Automobile
Drive through the downtown business section of Honolulu passing Iolani Palace, the only former royal palace situated in the United States.
Continue through the Nuuanu Valley to the Pali, for a breathtaking panoramic view of the windward side of Oahu.
A visit will be made to the National Cemetery in the Punchbowl Crater, before driving via the beautiful University of Hawaii to renowned Waikiki Beach.
Tour members may leave the automobiles at Waikiki Beach making their own way back to the ship, or return directly to the landing place in time for luncheon on the ship.
