TOUR #37: TANANARIVE
Full-Day, by Plane and Motor Coach
In the morning, fly (1 hour) to Tananarive, the capital of the Malagasy Republic. A full day of sightseeing features the modern business section, the government centre, and the residential area.
A visit will also be made to the castle of the former Queen of Madagascar, perched on a hill overlooking the city. In the late afternoon, fly back to Tamatave and rejoin the Caronia in time for sailing.

Morning, by Taxi
Drive through the city viewing its principal business and residential sections. Continue into the countryside to visit
a typical village of the Betsimisaraka Tribe and the unspoiled tropical beach of Tahitikely.
Return to Tamatave, where a programme of native folk dancing will be presented before rejoining the cruise ship.
