Morning, by Automobile

Automobiles will leave the landing place at about 9am, for a 3-hour tour of Bombay, visiting the Gateway of India, the Hindu Burning Ghats, Malabar Hill, the Hanging Gardens, the Museum, the principal business streets and colourful bazaars.

Luncheon will be served at the palatial Taj Mahal Hotel, after which the automobiles will transfer Excursion members to the landing place at Ballard Pier.

NOTE:
Members of Excursion E-8 who are also travelling on Inland Tours O46, O51, and O53 (which do not leave Bombay until Saturday, 03 Mar.), together with members who have registered for no other Inland Optional Tour in India, will take this Bombay city drive in the afternoon, leaving Ballard Pier at 3pm. The drive terminates at the Taj Mahal Hotel, where dinner will be served. Automobile transfers back to the Caronia will be available until 9pm.
