Morning sightseeing drive similar to Tour #0-27. Leave by afternoon plane for Johannesburg.

Johannesburg & Pretoria
Morning visit to the principal attractions of South Africa's modern “El Dorado”.
After luncheon, drive to Pretoria to see the Government Buildings and gardens, the Voortrekkers' Monument and other sights of the capital of South Africa, returning to Johannesburg for the night.

Victoria Falls
Three-hour morning flight to Victoria Falls.
In the afternoon visit the Main Falls, Rainbow Falls, Devil's Cataract, Palm Grove and Rain Forest.

Morning flight to Elisabethville (2½ hours), with short drive around this great city of the copper-mining region of the Southern Congo.
Afternoon 3-hour flight to Usumbura on Lake Tanganyika.

Morning drive across the Kamaniola Escarpment to Bukavu, charming settlement at the foot of Lake Kivu.
Afternoon at leisure.

Watusi country
Drive in the morning to the land of the Watusi to attend a special performance of dances by the giant people in one of their villages.
Afternoon drive to other native communities, returning to Bukavu for the night.

Morning drive along the western shores of Lake Kivu to Goma and continue to Kisenyi, famous beauty spot of the Congo.

Full day of motoring in Albert National Park, viewing many varieties of animals.

Another interesting morning drive in this wild game sanctuary.
Reach Butembo in mid-afternoon, for night at Butembo Guest House.

Ituri Forest
Full-day drive in the pygmy and gorilla country of the famed Ituri Forest.
Continue in the afternoon to the attractive resort of Mutwanga, within view of the Seven Glaciers of the Ruwenzori Range, the fabled Mountains of the Moon.

Motor along the slopes of the Ruwenzori to the picturesque Mweya Safari Lodge, in Elizabeth National Park overlooking Lake Edward and Kazinga Channel.

Continue eastward across the British Protectorate of Uganda, via Masaka, to Entebbe on the northwestern shore of Lake Victoria, nearly 4,000 feet above sea level.

Kampala
An interesting day's visit to the great native centre of Kampala at the northern end of Lake Victoria.
Return to Entebbe for the night.

Zanzibar
Morning flight across Lake Victoria, the Great Rift Valley and the plains of Tanganyika.
Arrive Zanzibar 4 hours later, rejoining the Caronia in time for luncheon.
