On the third day of the ship's stay in Cape Town, leave by special train at mid-day from the dock alongside the Caronia.
Tuesday, 14 February 1956
Kimberley
Full day in the great “Diamond City”.
Morning drive to the De Beers Mine and the “Big Hole”.
Afternoon visit to the Diamond Institute to see its display of gems.
Leave by train at sundown.
Wednesday, 15 February 1956
Johannesburg
Arrive after breakfast in South Africa's largest city, a modern “El Dorado”.
Morning drive visiting the business and residential sections and main points of interest.
Leave by early afternoon plane, arriving Livingstone Airport in about 2½ hours.
Overnight at Victoria Falls Hotel.

Victoria Falls
Morning visit to the Rain Forest and other vantage points along the splendid cataract.
Afternoon flight to Pretoria; night at Culembourg Hotel.
Friday, 17 February 1956
Pretoria
This beautiful city of flowers is the administrative capital of the Transvaal and of South Africa.
Morning visit to the Union Buildings, Paul Kruger's House and the Voortrekkers' Monument.
Afternoon drive to the Cullinan Diamond Mine.
Leave by special train in early evening.
Saturday, 18 February 1956
Kruger Park
A full day in this great reserve.
Leaving the train at Nelspruit in the early morning, motor through the Park to view wild game.
Luncheon is served at a rest camp in the Park.
Rejoin the train at Nelspruit and leave in early evening.
Sunday, 19 February 1956
Durban
A leisurely day aboard the comfortable special train, passing through the native areas of Natal, with stops at interesting stations.
Arrive Durban after dinner and rejoin the Caronia.
