Tour #E7 - Port Victoria Town
Morning, by Bus & Taxi
Port Victoria has only a few motor vehicles. All tourist facilities are quite limited, but the quaint quality of the place and the hospitable manner of its people make a visit highly interesting to experienced travellers.
The programme will provide transfers by bus and taxi in and around Port Victoria, stopping at the Botanical Gardens which have a good collection of tropical flowers and plants and a small coco-de-mer laboratory; also the handicraft salesrooms in the heart of the town.
The busses and taxis will return to the landing place at about noon, and passengers will arrive on board the Caronia in time for luncheon.
