Morning, by Automobile Transfers
This morning's programme consists of a continuous series of transfers by small automobiles from the landing place to Main Street, a distance of 1¼ miles; to the Museum grounds outside of town; and from that point back to the landing place; together with a concert by the Sultan's Band at the Museum.
Transfers will begin at about 8am, from the landing place, and the last taxis will return to the dock at 1pm.
Along the route will be seen the Sultan's Palace, the Beit-el-Ajaib Palace, the Anglican Cathedral built on the site of the once-notorious slave market — as well as the Peace Museum, displaying native industries, letters of famous travellers, and historic exhibits.
Zanzibar's colourful shops and bazaars will be found along Main Street and adjacent thoroughfares.

Afternoon, by Automobile
This is an attractive afternoon drive by automobile, leaving the Zanzibar landing place at about 2.30pm, and covering a distance of 32 miles through the tropical countryside of this island of cloves.
Following the coast road northward out of town, the route will pass villas once owned by Arab dignitaries, the Aga Khan Club, and Bububu village — source of Zanzibar's water supply and situated in groves of cloves.
Continuing over the Marie Louise Road to the Kizimbani Experimental Station, there will be a demonstration of the process of preparing cloves, and of making copra from coconuts which will be specially cut from the trees.
Nearby are the ruins of Persian baths, from which there is a good view over Zanzibar.
Return to the landing place in the late afternoon.
