There will be two morning and two afternoon sightseeing tours in Cairo leaving the hotels at 9am and 2.30pm by automobiles with dragomans (native guides) in attendance. The programme will include…

  • Old Cairo, visiting the Coptic Church,
  • the Nilometer,
  • Mosque of Amr and Egyptian Museum,
  • the Citadel,
  • Mosque of Mohammed Ali,
  • Mosque of Sultan Hassan,
  • the El Rifai Mosque and the world famous native bazaars;
  • the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx,
  • the Mosque of Kaid Bey,
  • Barkouk and the Tomb of the Khedive Tewfik

Drive to Mataria, visit the Virgin's Tree, the Church of the Holy Family and the Obelisk, Heliopolis, (New Cairo.)
