Here is an interesting half-day tour which leaves the pier by automobile and proceeds to Upper Baracca Gardens. From this vantage point there is a splendid panoramic view of Valletta's harbour, its waters punctuated by luxury liners and naval craft from all over the world, and by the small, colourful local craft.
There will be visits to St. John's Cathedral, the conventional church of the Order of the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem, the historic Grand Master's Palace. Return via Musta, St. Juliann and Sliema Cornish, reaching the pier about noon.
